The goal is to not exceed 7 absences throughout the school year. DON’T LOSE TRACK OF YOUR ABSENCES, THEY ADD UP!
In California, truancy is defined as being absent from school
for 30 minutes or more without a valid excuse on three (3)
separate occasions.
Tardies and Early Leaves in excess of 30 minutes (or more)
without valid excuse count towards truancy.
